A Christmas Kitchen "Reveal"

What better place to start the Christmas decorating
than in my "new" kitchen!

I feel like I'm in a totally new house.
And it's so bright in here that I need to wear sunglasses!

I'll have a post out soon with a few "before" photos
and I'll be answering some of your "how-to" questions,
with some of the technical stuff
and a "wish I knew then" list.
(ouch!)

But for now I just want to share a little of my Christmas fun.

The splashes of red really say Christmas to me.

and for my Victoria Magazine Inspiration
the current Christmas issue inspired me
to pack a little Christmas picnic basket
with hot cider and Walker shortbread.
(one of my favorite cookies)!

The kitchen re-do was every bit of the job that I knew it would be...
and then some!!

But I jumped right in to getting my Holiday decorating done
because I want to relax and enjoy these next few weeks

I hope that's possible!

I'm joining in with these great Holiday Parties

Hope you're having a wonderful week
full of Christmas fun!

Be sure and join in this Thursday-Sunday

love,
Debra

Oh Debra, your kitchen is so beautiful and your decorations are so lovely. I bet you are thrilled to be decorating in a gorgeous new kitchen. Can't wait to hear the details. Debra, if you want to share your kitchen at another party, I have the Boardwalk Bragfest on Tuesday, posted on Monday evening. I would definitely consider this to be a "brag-worthy" post.

Hi Debra,
Love your kitchen makeover! I especially love your vintage shopping basket on top of the fridge...it reminds me of shopping at the "dime" store when I was a little girl. Merry Christmas to you and yours!

It is allllllllll wonderful but, those two things were my favorites right off the bat! Have a marvelous week. Hope you'll pop over to see my post done on Saturday because it has a picture of Hubby & I(so you can see how good he looks after his surgery). He is doing so well with his recovery. Your kitchen is fabulous Debra!!!! Aren't you glad you did it instead of decoarting & you've still got time to do that. Sure wish I had tackled painting a hutch in my garage before I got snowed under w/ Christmas. I bought it last year & had hopes to have it painted before THAT Christmas...here it is a whole year later & I still haven't gotten around to it. And my Santa collection is gonna look fabulous on it. :( Oh well, there's alwasy next year! Enjoy teh season!
